Porto Koufo – the port of Kofos according to Thucydides – bordering ancient Toroni, is located at the end of Sithonia and is the most natural port of the northern Aegean that gives the impression of a lake, as it is almost enclosed, leaving a passage to the Aegean Sea. Not many years have passed since it was a small fishing village with few inhabitants and it still maintains its beauty and special character.
Built-in an olive grove of about three acres, first on the beach with a panoramic view of the entire port and facing the east, the guesthouse “CHRONOS” is a family business that operates with the main concern of personal service, comfort, safety, and care visitor but also respects for the environment.
The visitor can choose between five double, four triple and two four-bed suites, while the guesthouse also offers access for people with special needs or disabilities. All rooms have spacious balconies with a view towards the east and the port, in a design, colour and style that harmoniously integrates with the green of the mountain and the blue of the sea. The plants are irrigated through the sewage treatment unit (biological) which enables the exploitation of the water, after removing the polluting factors, thus maintaining an attitude of respect and love towards the environment and nature, which is also our basic care since the overall operation of the hostel is low energy loss.
The guest house has in all its rooms KNX technology (that is, there is remote control and various automation), while each room/suite can be managed from a central point, to save energy. At the same time, all rooms are equipped with a presence detector to provide security while guests are not in them, as well as fire safety and electric security shutters, while all rooms are accessed with personal codes. All common areas have automatic lighting with a motion detector and a closed surveillance system (CC TV). Also in the guesthouse, there is a large swimming pool (13m x 6m), while the visitor can also enjoy the secluded jacuzzi which is located on the hill behind the guesthouse and offers an amazing view.
All our rooms have a double bed with an anatomical hypoallergenic mattress and first-quality cotton linen. They also have cooling air conditioning and heating, smart TV, a safe, a fridge/mini bar, a hairdryer, a coffee maker and kettle, USB ports, Wi-Fi and a telephone. We offer items to our guest’s personal care products that respect the environment and are compatible with the operation of the sewage treatment system and pool towels made of premium cotton.
Our ground-floor suites have a sofa or armchair that converts into a bed (double or single). The suites and rooms on the ground floor have
also, a kitchen with a counter, hobs, storage space and equipment so that guests can prepare and enjoy their meals.
The suites and rooms located on the ground floor have direct access to the swimming pool while maintaining their privacy, while the rooms on the other floors have large private balconies where guests can enjoy the view of the entire harbour in total tranquillity.

The rooms on the second floor have internal balconies with extra single beds where families can be accommodated in total comfort.
